Nyck de Vries Biography

The Dutchman made his full-time F1 bow during the 2023 season after signing with AlphaTauri, as a replacement for Alpine-bound Pierre Gasly.

After a difficult start to life at AlphaTauri, de Vries became the latest victim of Red Bull's ruthless regime, having been replaced by Daniel Ricciardo just 10 races in to his rookie season.

Nyck de Vries F1 career (2023)

De Vries became a hot commodity when, at short-notice at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix, he raced for Williams due to Alex Albon's unavailability. De Vries out-qualified and out-raced regular Williams driver Nicholas Latifi and earned rave reviews throughout the paddock.

He is an F2 and Formula E champion.

De Vries was also a test driver for Mercedes.
