Pedro Acosta

Pedro Acosta will enter MotoGP in 2024 with the Tech3 GASGAS team.

At just 19 years old, he has already captured a Moto3 and a Moto2 championship.

When Acosta signalled his intention to step up into the premier class, such was the determination to cling on to him, KTM scrambled to find him a space.

Ultimately, KTM relegated Pol Espargaro into a test and wildcard rider role to make room for Acosta.

The teenager has been likened to Marc Marquez for his prodigious ability at such a young age.

Marquez, of course, stepped into MotoGP and won six of the first seven seasons in which he competed.

Even if Acosta cannot meet those remarkable standards, he remains an elite talent with a bright future.
