Yuki Tsunoda will continue with AlphaTauri for the 2023 F1 season.
Yuki Tsunoda F1 career (2021 - Present)
After scoring points on his F1 debut at the 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix, much was expected from Tsunoda in the remaining 21 races.
Frequent crashes and a general lack of pace meant Tsunoda scored points just seven times in 22 races.
While his points scoring was poor, Tsunoda seemed to find a breakthrough in the closing rounds, regularly making it into Q3.
Tsunoda made respectable progress in 2022 but was unable to show it as AlphaTauri slumped to their worst finish since 2012.
The Japanese driver remains with the team in 2023, alongside Nyck de Vries.
